An AC that is not cooling, leaking water or tripping the MCB can have several causes, so the technician checks the indoor and outdoor units, electrical supply, airflow and refrigerant pressure before recommending any work. Most often a blocked drain pipe or tray, an incorrect drain slope after installation, or ice forming on the coil because of low airflow or low gas.
A weak capacitor, faulty contactor, loose wiring or a compressor problem can stop the outdoor unit. We check the electrical parts first because they are the most common and cheapest fix.
Inverter ACs show error codes for sensor, communication, PCB and compressor faults. Note the code before booking — it helps the technician come prepared.
Can come from a shorted component, a failing compressor, a loose connection or an undersized stabilizer. Voltage drops during peak summer evenings make some of these faults show up more often.
Loose mounting, a worn fan motor bearing, debris in the blower or overheating wiring. Switch the AC off if you notice a burning smell and book an inspection.
